Doglio says she chairs the House Environment and Energy Committee and has focused on environmental sustainability, clean energy, reproductive rights and affordable housing during her time in office. On her campaign website, Doglio said she has spent years advocating for the issues she considers most important to the district and the state.

Doglio has served as state representative for District 22 since 2017, according to BallotReady. She says she chairs the House Environment and Energy Committee and serves on the Appropriations Committee and the State Government and Tribal Affairs Committee.
Before entering the Legislature, Doglio worked in environmental advocacy and political organizing. She served as founding executive director of Washington Conservation Voters from 1991 to 1995, according to her Wikipedia page. Housing: Doglio said on her campaign issues page she wants to establish permanent funding for housing and use federal dollars to build housing as part of addressing homelessness. She said the state should keep investing in housing for vulnerable residents.
Environment and energy: Doglio said she views climate change as connected to a wide range of issues, including the economy, healthcare, immigration, housing, social justice, national security and the environment. She said she supports developing a clean energy economy and creating jobs in that sector, according to her campaign issues page.
Gun safety: Doglio said she supports upholding Washington's ban on assault weapons, implementing stronger background checks and enacting red flag laws and Extreme Risk Protection Orders. She said she also wants to prevent the spread of untraceable 3D-printed firearms.
Healthcare: Doglio said she supports lowering prescription drug prices and working toward affordable, accessible healthcare for all. She said she believes "the ultimate answer is a Medicare for All system."
Workers' rights: Doglio said she wants to strengthen the union movement and make it easier for employees to organize. She said she supports raising wages and increasing workplace safety.
