New measure may require all girls sports teams in state verify biological sex

Washington's Initiative IL26-638, which would bar transgender girls from competing in girls' sports at all public schools including Olympia-area high schools, heads to the November 3 ballot as competing campaigns have raised a combined $2.6 million.
