Capital City PrideFest returns to downtown Olympia Friday through Sunday, June 26–28, with three days of free, all-ages events spread across Port Plaza, Percival Landing, and Water Street.
The festival marks Capital City Pride's 35th anniversary. The nonprofit describes PrideFest as a family-friendly, dry, zero-waste celebration open to people of all ages.
Here's the weekend lineup:
Friday, June 26: Block Party at the corner of Water Street and 5th Avenue, hosted by Free Range Drag's Luna Delyte.
Saturday, June 27: Music and Art Festival at Port Plaza, including a Health and Wellness Resource Fair. The Olympia Symphony Orchestra performs a free outdoor concert at 3 p.m. under the program title "BELIEVE," featuring Saint-Saëns' The Swan and Gluck's Dance of the Blessed Spirits.
Sunday, June 28: The Pride Parade steps off at 11 a.m. from Tivoli Fountain (1225 Capitol Way S) and ends at Heritage Park, where DJs and food trucks will be waiting. Dyke Day in the Park and Comic Relief follow.
The Olympia Police Department advised residents to expect extra pedestrian traffic and road impacts during Sunday's parade and directed people to capitalcitypride.net/3-day-fest for the parade route.
All events are free. Full schedule and times are available at capitalcitypride.net.
