Evergreen Valley Lavender Farm kicks off its 2026 U-pick season Friday with fields open for cutting and two gift shops stocked with locally made lavender products.

The farm, at 9733 Evergreen Valley Rd SE in Olympia, will welcome visitors from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Friday and Saturday through mid-July.

Established in 2009, it bills itself as Thurston County's oldest operating U-pick lavender farm, according to its listing on Experience Olympia.

The operation grows more than 500 plants across 12 varieties, including English lavenders like Royal Velvet and Melissa (a white bloom) and Lavandins used for on-site essential oil distillation.

The farm also hosts what it calls its first two-day Lavender Festival on Friday, July 10, and Saturday, July 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with 17 local artists, crafters, and food vendors.

The event is family-friendly, though pets are not allowed on the property.
