Live music is coming to Tumwater Falls this summer, honoring local singers and music artists.
The Olympia Tumwater Foundation launches "Evenings at the Falls" on July 11, a new concert series at Brewery Park at Tumwater Falls.
The series runs on four Saturdays between July and September, all from 4 to 7 p.m. Remaining dates are all on Saturdays, August 8, August 22, and September 5.
The series is presented by Friends of the Falls, the foundation's new membership program.
The July 11 opener features Erina, the musical project of Seattle-based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jessie Branch. Branch, who takes pride in her Pacific Northwest roots, has previously performed at the Olympia Farmers Market and at Well 80 during Olympia Arts Walk.
At the July 11 event, La Esquinita will serve food for purchase and Well 80 Brewhouse will run a beer garden with beverages available for sale.
Todd Cutts, executive director of the Olympia Tumwater Foundation, said the series aims to introduce new visitors to the park alongside existing supporters and bring the community together around live music and local vendors.
Brewery Park is a 15-acre privately maintained park at 110 Deschutes Way SW in Tumwater, where the Deschutes River drops 82 feet over three waterfalls before emptying into Budd Inlet.
The park drew more than 271,000 visitors in 2025 and operates without government funding, according to the foundation. The Olympia Brewing Company and the Schmidt family gifted it to the community in 1962.
The Friends of the Falls membership program, launched in June, starts at $10 per month. The foundation says revenue from the program's first two years will go toward a planned History & Nature Center at the park.
Artists for the August and September concerts have not yet been announced. More information is available at olytumfoundation.org/friends-of-the-falls.
